How to enter
3 simple steps
STEP 1 – Record Your Mini-Mix
Create a 90-second video showcasing your skills with a mix featuring Ibiza Rocks-affiliated artists.
STEP 2 – POST YOUR MINI MIX ON INSTAGRAM
Post your 90-second mini-mix as an Instagram Reel with text on top that says: I WANT TO BE THE NEXT ROCKS RESIDENT DJ.
Use the hashtags #IBIZAROCKS #ROCKSRESIDENT in your caption.
Tag @ibizarocks and set the location to Ibiza Rocks.
step 3 – COMPLETE OUT FORM
Submit the URL of your instagram post with the mini-mix through our official Google Form
It’s important you must complete all 3 steps in order for your entry to be valid.
You have two weeks to enter and promote your post before submissions close on 24th February 2025.
JUDGING PROCESS
All entries will be assessed based on four key factors:
- Technical ability
- Creativity and track selection
- A brief demonstration of microphone skills
- How well your post is interacted with
From the initial submissions, a selection of standout DJs will be invited to create a 20-minute genre-fluid mix (both audio & video). A highlight from each finalist’s mix will be featured on Ibiza Rocks’ official social media channels to announce the final contestants.
The judging process will last one week, with finalists announced in late February, and the overall winner crowned in March.

I started 10 years ago on the island at Ibiza Rocks Bar. That then turned into DJing the boat parties which then turned into DJing at the hotel. Now 10 years later, I book all the talent and work with all the headliners, support and resident DJs. So in terms of career moves, this could be a very, very, very good one for you as a DJ.
